DIY project timesheet:  

• 2 hours to the hardware store and back.
• 2 hours trying to make the wrong parts work. 
• 2 hours and 
• 2 hardware stores to find the correct parts, then 
• 2 more hours back to the first hardware store to return the rest of the wrong parts. 
• 15 minutes to install the correct parts and get the damned thing working again.
