Three Weeks Until Shipwreck July 17

Georgetown Artopia and Fremont Solstice festival are just  fond memories; next big event of the summer for us, along with tens of thousands of other folks, is the huge street market in Anacortes, Washington, Shipwreck day. On July 17 several blocks of this picturesque north Puget Sound community transforms into a sea of people browsing hundreds of vendors.  A wide variety of good stuff, old and new being sold by professional dealers along side folks who just pool a years worth of garage sale junk, put out for you to find an occasional treasure.

Just an hour and a half north out of Seattle, hardly more than a half hour from Bellingham and the boarder, Anacortes makes a fin destination any time of the year, but it is an especial treat on Shipwreck. Why not come on in and see what you can find.
