decent day in Fremont - dodged the bullet on tough packing job

Relieved to help a customer load these lamps into his car at Fremont Sunday.  Up online for the last month, striking fear in my heart every time the thought of that packing project crossed my mind.  In perfect condition, these old lamp shades are brittle, easy to damage. Constructing a shipping box that gently supports the shade and holds the heavy lamp body securely in place is not easy or fun.

Save me a long day's work, and the market price came out almost the same as an online offer. 

The Lane Acclaim end table also sold on Sunday at about the same price as we set for an online sale.  Easier to crate up than the lamps, still a relief to carry it up for the customer as well.  Same guy that got the lamps.  Purchased the table first, liked the lamps but wanted to think about it.  Think about it always means no way.  Later, at the loading zone, he  told me he wanted the lamps after all.   Yipee, swipe the card through square.

Small sporty car, is it just me or is black the currrent most popular car color?  Final relief when the bulky lamps and table barely fit into the thing. Told him to drive careful.

Regular customer, nice guy comes through every Sunday.  We probably should know his name.
