Lady at the PackageExpress counter said one of her regular shippers went out to his truck for tools and cut his box down right there in the depot waiting room. My project needed more attention.

Started with little idea how to secure the new top onto the cut down body of the box. Decided to use cleats that are glued top, side and bottom, secured with hot glue and tape. Seems strong.
Almost got to the end before burning my finger with the glue.
